From A Massachusett’s Miracle To One For Kentucky

We all saw the “Massachusetts Miracle” and how that a grassroots candidate has made his way to Washington in his pickup truck no less! A Patriotic Nurse takes great pleasure in introducing to you another such candidate. Bill Johnson of Kentucky is making his bid to become the next senator from the bluegrass state. I am not only introducing him as our next senator but endorsing him as well! Let me explain..Mr. Johnson is a veteran of the first gulf war;

Bill served on board the nuclear powered cruiser USS Virginia during the first gulf war. He later served on the staff of the Commander, U.S. Atlantic Fleet, and then onboard the aircraft carrier USS Eisenhower. During his military service, Bill received the Joint Meritorious Unit Award three times, Sea Service Deployment ribbon twice, Southwest Asia Service Medal with bronze star, Coast Guard Special Operations ribbon, National Defense Service Medal, Navy Commendation Medal, Navy Unit Commendation, and Navy Achievement Medal. He received an honorable discharge after 10 years of military service.

Mr. Johnson does not refer to himself as a politician but that of a Reagan Republican Conservative. He supports,”limited government, low taxes, strong military, gun ownership, marriage between one man and one woman, life begins at conception, and free markets.”
Johnson is one man running against two others and describes them this way…..

One of my opponents was a former Democrat and Bill Clinton delegate while the other has strong libertarian views and helped his father run on the Libertarian ticket for President.

To become better acquainted with the issues that Bill is most passionate about you can view them here. Johnson has been snubbed by the other candidates and has been left out on debating the issues that not only matter to those of us in Kentucky but for America as well. You can view that article here.
I strongly urge all of you to become better familiar with this candidate, he is not only good for Kentucky but will be good for America as we fight to return to our true values and principles. We have all witnessed how the grassroots movement is gaining momentum, lets reeve up the momentum for Bill and send him to Washington!

  1. Bill is a “Joe” citizen like you and me, he is a wonderful candidate to replace Jim Bunning here in Kentucky. I have been supporting him since last August so I have put them through the wringer on the issues and he has stayed right on target not wavering one single time. He is is feed up with the political system and represents the every day Kentucky voters. That is the kind of person I want representing me in Washington and I am sure once others get to know him they will too.

    • Couldn’t agree with you more!!! I am tired of professional poliiticians that refuse to listen to the will of the people and govern to only push their own political agenda! Thanks for visiting!

      • It’s becoming increasingly evident that Bill Johnson’s candidacy is shaking his opponents. His main strength, in my opinion, is his command of the Constitution and his ability to instill trust and confidence in those whose trust and confidence has been violated time and again in politics.
You need only look into his eyes to know why he has held such tremendous responsibilties entrusted in him by our nation and the international energy business world.

  2. On target, sister! Johnson for Senate!

  3. Is he on twitter? My name is victoria_29 on there tell him to get my attention & I will certainly be happy to make calls (things that I can do from out of state) just like we did for Scott Brown. What about facebook?

    • Yes Victoria..he is all over the place, Facebook and twittter. His twitter name is @BillJohnson2010 tweet him and let you know you will support him, he would be very happy! Thanks for offering to help another grassroots candidate to take our country back!

      • Thank you, Victoria, from a technologically challenged DAV. Would you act on my behalf feom the the twitter end of things? I know for a fact that you guys impacted MASS to the nth degree. Thank you, Victoria. I hope that one day you will meet Bill Johnson. He’s a true gentleman. His campaign motto is DUTY-HONOR-COUNTRY if that gives you an idea of his character.

  4. In a time when the focus is on sending people to Washington who are going to infuse new blood and throw out the old guard, a bold fresh face emerges in the person of Bill Johnson. He exhibits character and principle by funding his own campaign and his life’s accomplishments exude the conservative values that represent so many average Kentuckians. Since I no longer trust the established politician or political machine Bill Johnson is the ideal grassroot individual that I want speaking for me in the U.S. Senate. The liberty and freedom of future generations depend on it.

  5. Great Post. Can you email me back, please. Thanks so much.

  6. Speaking of the political machine, Michelle Malkin’s blog says that Sarah Palin is endorsing McCain as he tries to win another term.
I’m just thinking, “WHY is she doing that?!!”
He’s a moderate who keeps trying to act liberal, and I think he’s done too much harm to the country with his moderate-liberal agenda.
He’s definitely not conservative. I kept thinking Palin stood for basic conservative values, but I think this is a huge mistake on her part.
McCain needs to be beaten in the primaries by a conservative.
Now, if there’s no conservative challenging him in the primaries, I guess that leaves no one to endorse EXCEPT McCain. But I thought there was a businessman, a conservative who was stepping up.

  7. Hi Brian…I totally agree with you on the John McCain assessment. He’s no favorite of mine by any means and I’d love to see him sent out to pasture to enjoy his retirement years. As for Sarah Palin, she had given her word that she would support him…she is keeping that promise. I look at it as a measure of character and integrity on her part and should be viewed as a definite asset by her supporters. Since I trust her explicitly, I will support her decision. Let’s see just how hard she pushes McCains cause. I’m thinking lip service at the most.

    • Good point.
Right now he’s acting more conservative on the healthcare bill. I think he’s bending with the wind.

And if McCain has been making his old liberal moves to gain friends on the left, like the mainstream media, I’m afraid that’s a lost cause.

Today on CNN they reported that McCain and another Republican senator (Coburn from Oklahoma?) sent a list of the 10 greatest wastes of the stimulus money. CNN, through a single reporter, went to the trouble to interview a couple of the people involved with recieving those stimulus payments, talking about what the money was used for. Basically the report was saying McCain and Coburn are wrong, these were not wastes.
Despite all the times he’s acted liberal, the Left hates him as much as any true conservative.

  8. So true, Kelley. Commitment, integrity, honor, consistency, trust, confidence, ethics, values, morals. This are hardly recognized by the under 35 generation, much less valued, anymore.
Brian, there was a time when a man’s (woman’s) word was his bond, when a handshake sealed a contract. Are you familiar? Is this at all important? I’m personally aware of several Rand Paul violations of these indicators of character.
There are two Ronald Reagan Rallies these next few days. One is in Lexington on Jan. 31 at Lexington Catholic High School. The second is in Somerset on feb. 1. check Bill’s calendar at http://www.kentuckybill.com .
Are you familiar with Bill Johnson’s campaign slogan? DUTY-HONOR-COUNTRY
Does that speak to your sense of patriotism?

  9. Yes. Very simply, she gave her word to campaign for McCain. Like Bill Johnson, Palin puts great stock in her word as her bond.
Is there some reason you had to ask?

  10. Yes. I told Kelley that she had made a good point on Palin. And then I pointed out how McCain is hurting himself.
And then I get asked if I think honor and integrity mean anything. Which I most certainly do.
Then I get asked if the slogan DUTY-HONOR-COUNTRY means anything to my sense of patriotism.
    Which it most certainly does.
My sense of patriotism, and the values that shaped this country, run deep.

So sir, please don’t question my sense of patriotism, or the degree to which I hold the virtues of honor and integrity.

    • Brian you should seriously consider joining us to see that Bill Johnson is sent to DC to represent the values and principles we all share!

      • Well, Yeah! A Reagan Rally, in this day and age. It’s long overdue. If I don’t have to work, I’ll be there.

I’m just sorry I missed Bill at the gun show on the 2nd.

      • Maybe if I don’t have to work we can go togther!!! Will have to look at the date again!

  11. Actually I asked if a handshake as a contract was important to you and if Bill’s slogan appealed to your sense of patriotism.

A yes and a yes is all that’s necessary You should be proud to say so.

Now, about that invitation? Bill would be honored to have a patriotic supporter such as yourself join the campaign.

    You’re under 35?

  12. Hello. Very interesting Post. Not really what i have searched over Google, but thanks for the information.

    • Thanks for commenting, not sure what you mean by, “not really what I have searched over Google.” Things are heating up here in KY’s senate race! Most likely will become very interesting before May’s primary! Johnson is well qualified and gaining momentum here within the state. Appreciate your visit.

  14. Well, we have placed a lot of hope in Scott Brown. All eyes will be upon him for some time…A lot hangs on him. He, right now, is an extremely important member of our congress. Or will be, rather, when he gets sworn in.

  15. The Bill Johnson for U.S. Senate campaign received the following poll results. Shamrock Polling conducted the statewide poll for an undisclosed client. Questions regarding the poll can be directed to Persistence Consulting (persistenceconsulting@gmail.com). The Johnson for U.S. Senate campaign did not pay for or participate in this poll. The results are consistent with internal polling done by the campaign.

We asked 1,257 likely republican voters the following questions:

“Who are you planning on voting for US Senate in the republican primary on May 18th?”

    Trey Grayson 27%
    Bill Johnson 23%
    Rand Paul 21%
    Undecided 29%

We then asked are you strongly, moderately, or leaning towards your candidate?

    Rand Paul 7% 27% 66%
    Bill Johnson 72% 21% 7%
    Trey Grayson 52% 14% 34%

    Margin of Error 4.5%

  16. True to an extent, which is a big piece of the reason the Conservatives begun exiting the Republicans a whole decade ago, or at the very least ended voting for their nominees. Im somewhat right-wing, but no way was I going to vote for a Bush or McCain. However, the Presidency merely has so much power – they CANNOT legislate and a more precise assesment of expenditure comes from looking at who is leading the House and Senate, not the White House. The Obamabots are drawing a differentiation when it suits them as their President sputters to act out his agenda, and the Bushies did the comparable when the state of affairs was converse later in his Presidency.
