Give Life a chance…an open letter to Obama

Dear President Obama,

As one of your constituents, I am disappointed that you have chosen to mislead the American people in regard to abortion funding in the health care bill.

On August 19th, you stated: “You’ve heard that this is all going to mean government funding of abortion. Not true. This is all, these are all fabrications that have been put out there. . .”

President Obama, you are misleading the American people. Here are the facts:

The Capps Amendment, as passed by the House Energy and Commerce Committee, explicitly requires every enrollee of a government-subsidized health insurance plan to be charged an extra fee to cover abortions. The federal agency administering the health care plan will collect the premium money, receive bills from abortionists, and send the abortionists payment checks from the federal Treasury account.

In response, many pro-abortion politicians are hiding behind the Hyde Amendment, but the truth is the Hyde Amendment does not apply because federal subsidies for private plans and start up money for the public plan are directly appropriated under H.R. 3200.

Therefore, I demand that you oppose any health care bill unless abortion is explicitly excluded from the scope of any federally mandated, federally subsidized, or federally defined health insurance plans.

President Obama, my concerns are not fabrications, they are facts. They are facts that even the mainstream media confirms. Consider these quotes:

“The health-care reform proposed by House Democrats, if enacted, would in fact mark a significant change in the federal government’s role in the financing of abortions. […] So in effect, anyone who wanted to sign up for the public option, a federally funded and administered program, would find themselves paying for abortion coverage. […] Nonetheless, the new system differs markedly from the old federal policy of not involving the government in abortion services unless issues of rape, incest or the life of the mother are at play.” – TIME, August 24, 2009, “How Abortion Could Imperil Health Care Reform.”

“Health care legislation before Congress would allow a new government-sponsored insurance plan to cover abortions, a decision that would affect millions of women and recast federal policy on the divisive issue.” -The Associated Press, August 5, 2009, “Gov’t Insurance Would Allow Coverage for Abortion.”

“Obama has said in the past that ‘reproductive services’ would be covered by his public plan, so it’s likely that any new federal insurance plan would cover abortion unless Congress expressly prohibits that… Therefore, we judge that the president goes too far when he calls the statements that government would be funding abortions ‘fabrications.’”, August 21, 2009, “Abortion: Which Side is Fabricating?”

President Obama, the current health care reform proposals, if enacted, would result in the greatest expansion of abortion since the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision imposed abortion on America in 1973.

Polls consistently show that the overwhelming majority of Americans are pro-life. Abortion must be explicitly excluded to ensure the pro-life views of Americans are properly reflected in any health care reform effort.

~~Obama and Sotomayor appear in this picture as being very delighted upon his nomination of her to replace retiring Justice Souter of the Supreme Court of the United States. When observing Barry’s smile or grin, it brings one to question what is going through his mind at the time. Is it because as the first African-American president he has made his first appointment to the Supreme Court? Could it be that he is laughing to himself that he has once again managed to bring his liberal socialist agenda to light by nominating such a liberal and controversial person to the bench. Only time will tell………
~~What do we know of her? Her views on the second amendment is making gun owners across America wondering if their constitutional rights are in jeopardy. Pro-Life groups are up in arms because to date there are no opinions on record of her stance on abortion. It is known that she is one of the most liberal of judges on the circuit court, possibly more liberal than Souter.~~~~
~~Obama has stated that he wants someone to, “up hold the constitution and be empathetic.”
Empathy should not be considered when deliberating a case, only the laws as set forth in the constitution should be considered rendering personal feelings ineffective when hearing a case.~~
~~This will prove to be a challenging feat for conservatives as they interview her and hold her accountable for several of the controversial remarks that have surfaced of late; such as a “Latino woman is more capable of making a sound decision to that of a white man.” Does this not reek of racism? Karl Rove, former advisor for Pres. Bush and current Fox News analyst provides a keen observation regarding Sotomayor…..

~A Special Memorial ~

~A very special Memorial to the many aborted babies that has saddened the Most Blessed Mother of all~
Barack Hussein Obama has voted and supports this horrendous act, the infanticide, the leaving of live aborted babies to lay in squander.
~This Memorial Day, Please take time to reflect and pray for the souls of these most innocent of innocence that have endured such inhumane acts~
~This candle shall burn for you as well for eternity as a reminder of what you could have brought to this world~

May this video enlighten you to speak out against this horrendous torture~ ( No actual abortions shown in this video. A statement of Obama’s views)

Abortion today, is as controversial as it was over thirty years ago. Arguments have been voiced from the Supreme Court to the pulpits of our churches. Morality and the effects of abortions for many years have been facing this generation, and generations of our forefathers and of theirs. The main difference with today’s society is that it knows no other law pertaining to abortion, for most, it has been a legal procedure their entire lives.

This continues to be agenda of the current administration; to continue this barbaric act and show no compassion for the unborn. This was cause for protest at Notre Dame’s recent graduaton.
It is our responsibility for humanity’s sake to work together to overcome the barriers we face regarding abortion and find a solution in order for our civilization to survive. We must end this travesty and we must place more value on the concept of life and how we deal with it, rather than simply aborting a life that could have so much potential. This is essential for the survival of our culture and civilization.
We must elect politician who share our beliefs that all life is sacred and not be discarded in soiled utility rooms of our hospitals to die. Obama defended infantcide not only on a state level but on federal level as well. This act of barbarism must cease and it is our duty as a society to see that it stops, never should a gift of God be discarded in such a manner; I am sure Our Father is truly saddened by the actions of those with power. Power over principles have no place in our society.
