A Country in Turmoil

I’ve been watching the events as they unfolded in Eypgt this past week, often overwhelmed by the scenes shown on television and watching the videos that have made their way out of a country clearly in turmoil. These people are fighting for economic freedom, release from a plummeting economy under the rule of Mubarak who has been at the helm for close to 30 years. The people of Egypt are calling for him to step down, yet he remains firm in his resolve for now to remain as their President. He has dismissed his cabinet and appointed a Vice-President…yet the riots continue.
The White House by way of Secretary of State Hilliary Clinton is calling for orderly, peaceful transition” to a “real democracy.” But one does have to wonder what the real agenda of the White House has under it’s hat. Are they supporting one who has ties with the Muslim Brotherhood? ElBaradei declared, “You are the owners of this revolution. You are the future.” Does he really believe this or it is his way of maneuvering the Muslim Brotherhood to have control of these people and further aid the Islamic terrorist in conquering yet another country, one that borders with Israel who if this was to happen would surely be at a great risk. It was reported in Cairo,”Gangs of armed men attacked at least four jails across Egypt before dawn Sunday, helping to free hundreds of Muslim militants and thousands of other inmates as police vanished from the streets of Cairo and other cities.” Is this a blatant attempt to release Muslim thugs to further perpetuate the violence we’ve seen thus far.
Iran has long called for the annihilation of Israel and with Egypt being controlled by Muslim Brotherhood sympathizers could this just be another way of bringing this into reality? Many in Egypt are claiming that the Obama administration is out of touch. This is a claim that many within the United States have often made. It is of grave importance that we stand strong and solid with Israel. We must refrain from cutting aid to Israel as called for by newly elected Junior Senator of Kentucky, Rand Paul.
In order to understand the importance of Israel’s survival one only needs to turn to their Bibles. Biblically speaking, not only is Israel around during end time events, but they seem to be the focal point. Many people ask if it is in the best interest of America to be involved with Israel. We are living in perilous times and every knee should be bended in prayer.

What?? Paul/Franken hook up!!?!! O’ My..

You can’t begin to understand how the logic of this baffles many of us that have been involved locally in Tea Party events. Good friend and co-patriot Kentucky blogger is just as baffled as myself. She writes Strange Bedfellows, Al Franken is Rand Paul’s’ mentor. Strange indeed, but not surprising given Paul’s wacky views or at best, wacky to those who really got to know him as he campaigned here in Kentucky. Paul bellied up and literally co-opted the Tea Party here in Kentucky. Many of course will disagree with me, but that is why I blog, to give my opinions!!
He has joined efforts with the likes of Alex Jones, Adam Kokesh, and now has decided he needs a liberal to mentor him while being a junior Senator. Kentucky, what have you done! I can say that because I personally could not vote for this guy.
Now I wonder just how this is going to play out across Kentucky as we head into the next phase politically. One has to wonder if Paul is going to share with Franken the “Aqua Buddha“.. apparently Franken has shared his kool-aid with Paul!

Tree huggers, Democrats & ObamaCare Beware!!!

A woman from Los Angeles, CA. who was a tree hugger, a Democrat and an anti-hunter, purchased a piece of timberland near Colville, WA. On the hightest point on the tract there was a very large tree. Wanting a good v…iew of the natural splendor of her land she started to climb this tree. As she neared the top she encountered a spotted owl that attacked her and in her haste to escape, the woman slid down the tree to the ground and got many splinters in her crotch area.

In considerable pain, she hurried to the Mt. Carmel ER to see a doctor. She told him she was an environmentalist, a Democrat, and anti-hunter and how she came to get all the splinters. The doctor listened to her story with great patience and then told her to go wait in the examining room and he would see if he could help her.

After waiting three hours before the doctor reappeared, the angry woman demanded, “What took you so long?”

He smiled and then told her, “Well, I had to get permits from the Environmental Protection Agency, the Forest Service and the Bureau of Land Management before I could remove old-growth timber from a recreational area. I’m sorry, but due to Obama Care, they turned me down.”

King’s Mountain Tops Speech remains relevant today

On April 3, 1968 Martin Luther King delivered his powerful, “I’ve been to the mountain top speech” the day before he was assassinated. We have to remain true to what we say on paper. We still 43 years later are still having difficult days ahead, racial divide continues to be exacerbated by those who continue to want to create strife and division in America. We are Americans, regardless of the color of our skin or party affiliation.
Our first amendment rights are continued to be infringed upon, the media now has usurped our rights to have fair and unbalanced reporting of the news. Our rights to assemble are now making us possible victims of the hatred that is growing in our nation. Our freedom of speech and our rights to protest now subject us to being killed, maimed in the streets by crazed zealots.
The mountain top appears to be getting closer for us all, as civility is no longer prevalent in our society today.

The Damnation of Fred Phelps and Westboro Baptist Church

Fred Phelps and the flock of the Westboro Baptist Church are known for their warped sense of Christianity and as you, the readers, are aware of their attempts to disrupt and protest the fallen soldiers who died in the line of service for our country. It was brought to my attention by one of my frequent readers that now they plan to attend the funeral of the youngest victim of the recent carnage that took place in Tuscon, Arizona this past Saturday.
Phelps referenced Luke 13:3

By no means! But I tell you, if you do not repent, you will perish as they did!

The Voice of Tuscon reports that Phelps has said “God sent a shooter today.“This is clearly not what a God of love and peace would command or ask of his followers.
However, this “hate group” recently sent out a new release on Saturday January 8th:

According to the Voice of Tuscon they report that they plan on protesting at the funeral of 9 year-old Cristina Taylor Greene, this Thursday at 1pm at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton’s Catholic Church in Tucson. According to my “informed reader” Phelps and his clan may have a surprise awaiting them! As members of the community have planned to adorn “large Angel Wings” to spread them open for cover as this family lays to rest their most cherished treasure. I ask everyone that reads this post on Thursday at 1 p.m. to say a silent prayer for this family, the others whose lives were so needlessly taken and for those who continuously fight for their lives so that the mercy and grace of Our Lord can illuminate the sky’s with his light of love upon them.

The Ramblings of Jared Loughner

Since Saturday’s tragic events in Tuscon, Arizona a lot of pertinent information is beginning to surface regarding Jared Loughner, the accused shooter that killed a Federal Judge Roll and severely wounded Rep. Gabby Gifford and took the life of a nine year old child.[I will not post the child’s name or picture out of respect for a grieving family] A total of six died that day and sixteen remain hospitalized for wounds suffered from the hand of what is now considered to be a very troubled young man.
We have all heard the pundits on the left trying to lay blame on Sarah Palin and the map that her PAC group had with the “cross hairs” targeting areas to which particular congressional races were to be targeted; however not by violence. I do believe that her map has now been removed from the site. However, this isn’t something new as the Democrats had a very similar map themselves that they used for the 2008 campaign.
So again we are witnessing how the left want to mislead the American public once again and try to use this tragedy for their benefit. What the left doesn’t want you to know is that Jared had a history of bizarre behavior. Not only was it his cult-like altar that was found in his parent’s back yard with a skull and dried up oranges and candles that has surfaced and clearly identifies him as being mentally unstable as does his youtube videos that spoke of mind control. He read books such as “Mein Kampf“and was often seen as a loner by neighbors. The people that he had attended school with paint quite a different picture of this trouble soul. Emails sent to school officials depicting his weird outbreaks in class with one girl writing that she sat by the door with her purse in her hand. One of his professors was afraid to turn his back on the class in fear of being shot as he wrote upon the blackboard. Does this sound like a rational thinking young man? I would say definitely no! Sheriff Dupnik has been seen on television trying to politicize this heinous event but the real question for the sheriff was why after receiving at least five [5] calls from the school due to Jared’s bizarre behavior that nothing was done.
Many individuals are known to suffer from such mental disorders such as schizophrenia and bipolar; often these disorders surface when the individual is in their earlier twenties. One would assume his behavior did not only happen when he was away from his parents, so one has to wonder if they had noticed his erratic behavior and chose to turn their heads, its hard to comprehend. I am not a physician so I can’t say for certain that he indeed suffer from these disorders, but I am a Registered Nurse and have studied mental health and have often encountered patients who displayed such erratic behavior.
More will continue to surface as the days go by possibly with more information that will depict what was behind this troubled young man to make him take the life of others, put people in harms way and possibly could be facing a certain death penalty if found guilty.

The Division of America Continues to Broaden

What a sad day again in America’s history as the terrible attack in Tuscon, AZ against Gabby Gifford and the honorable Judge Roll.
I am taken back on the day of September 11, 2001 when a nation came together when we were attacked by terrorist. Sadly this isn’t happening this time around. Too many people, especially our liberal pundits want to place blame on people such as Sarah Palin and the Tea Party movement. How absurd!!!
Jane Fonda was tweeting about how Palin was to blame for this outrageous attack, don’t we wish that maybe she could go to North Korea and give them a hand and quit obscuring facts with her own deluded opinions.
Think for a moment of the family of the nine year old child [born on September 11, 2001] whose short life was snuffed out. Where is the compassion for our fellow man when at a time we should be joining together supporting everyone involved in this heinous crime, we are splitting hairs and making this a political fiasco!
This is egregious in every sense of the word.
Obama is remembered for his ill-fated logic of, “if they bring a knife we bring a gun.” This is just adding more fuel to the flames. We need a President who is a unifier and apparently during his many hours of community service, that is a lesson that went unlearned.
The day that the 112th congress read the constitution on the house floor, I am reminded of the woman who called out from the gallery for “Jesus save us.” I couldn’t agree with her more today as I sit and hear the pundits on television and read the “pathetic progressives” tweets on twitter.

The Passing of the Gavel

Today Mr. Speaker you officially take the gavel away from Nancy Pelosi; who recklessly used it to to attempt to undermine and obscure the will of the people. I appreciate that as you undertake one of the most powerful jobs in the nation that you want to make it less about yourself and the power you may hold but more about the people in which you actually represent. That would be us, We the People… you say that you will be offering the minority party a chance to be heard, Mr. Speaker..we have heard from them and they have supported every progressive measure to lead us into a more socialist type government.
Naftali Bendavid and Patrick O’Connor report in the Wall Street Journal that one of your first votes will be:

We can’t afford to have the federal debt raised any higher if you want us to get our fiscal responsibilities in order. Among the changes of rules that you wish to implement is:

All legislation must be posted online 72 hours before going to the House floor to prevent party leaders from changing bills the night before House votes, as has been the practice over the years.

We have heard this before if you remember when Obama was preaching from his deluded pulpit and hailed “transparency” was coming to DC. We the people, are demanding that we have the time to read and to voice our concerns regarding impending bills and we respectfully but firmly request that the bills be limited to the length; no longer is it necessary to have thousands of pages of political rhetoric to get a bill passed.
So Mr. Speaker has you hold the gavel in your hands remember it is the people of America that is looking to you for leadership; one who won’t buckle to those who claim to be with you in name only. The American people know who the RINO’s [republicans in name only] are and we will be most likely watching you more closely, placing you under our microscopic eye to see that you hold true to your promise to restore honor to America and to repeal the usurpation of this administration.
